What I do

I offer a range of services to higher education providers based on my experiences of working with students, staff, businesses and public bodies. My main areas of support are accreditations, training and international education.

Accreditations and quality reviews

I can support you in preparing documentation for the accreditation of new programmes and programme reviews. I am also available to serve on panels. I have chaired and supported accredidations and evaluations in a wide range of subject areas across the world. This includes working with academics, students and accreditation bodies and government agencies.

Workshops

My workshops are tailored to the specific situation and interests of participants and can be delivered online or in person. I offer workshops for academic and administrative staff and for students on topics such as fair assessment, inclusive classrooms, intercultural communication and student engagement.

Presentations

My presentations are aimed at both academic and administrative staff in an inclusive approach that considers all aspects of the student experience. I offer online and in-person presentations for staff or student events and conferences on a wide range of topics.

International partnerships

I can support you in establishing international partnerships and assuring and enhancing their quality. I have extensive experience in transnational education, ranging from curriculum development and training to executive oversight of three international branch campuses.

preparing/reviewing documentation

Preparing documentation for projects requires coordination and an understanding of your audience and underlying conventions. I offer support in writing and reviewing documentation across a range of areas, including funding bids and partnership agreements.

assessment Support

Any form of assessmet needs to be fair and well documented for students and other stakeholders. I am available to review assessment strategies, especially with a view to ensuring fair and inclusive assessment. I also act as external examiner.
